Very rare HUGE 15s” that are unbelievably dark, slightly dry, fat and complex! A stunning blend of musical characteristics that you rarely find in hihats - and all with the lower pitched darkness of 15s”. 

And dig the sparser/wider lathing on these Istanbul Jazz 15s”. They're not fully lathed like a Traditional. This no doubt contributes to the drier tone. But they STILL have a complex, smoky, organic vibe to them.

They’re reminiscent of the AGOP Epoch Hihats but in darker, lower 15s”.

And that is accurate! These 15s” are remarkably versatile.  

Weighing in at a lovely 1114 grams for the Top Cymbal, and 1334 grams for the Bottom Cymbal, these Istanbuls posses a beautiful semi-DRY and semi-complex vibe. They have an incredibly organic tone. RESPONSIVE Hihats with an amazing SMOKY vibe and overall FAT 15” tone. 

Darker. Fairly complex but still lower in pitch. VERY organic and smoky. Medium Thin weight, raw bell. Amazing lathing and hand hammering.

Tight at low volumes. Can still cut well when needed. Open them for a low, organic sloshy tone  

Immaculate condition. The only pair I have and the only pair I’ve ever seen. Hand Hammered and a sonic steal at this price!
