These are just about THE MOST ICONIC and collectible Paiste Hihats around. They’re THE SOUND. A must have for the studio - nothing else does this iconic tone  

And they are some of the EARLIEST ONES I have ever seen! From 1974! Literally the first few debut years.

Paiste ORIGINAL 1974 VINTAGE 2002 Black Label (with the embossed logo) 15" SOUND EDGE HIHATS.

The weights are 1139 grams for the top cymbal and 1024 grams for the bottom.

And this pair is actually a PAIR: Consecutive Serial #s signifying that these fraternal twins were born in 1974.

Shy of going back in time and stealing John Bonham's hihats off his Ludwig kit, this is as close as you can come to Bonham's hihats. Vintage Paiste 15" Original 1974 36 Scalloped Black Label Sound Edge Hihats. 

These cymbals don't surface often. Guys who own them, KEEP them. You have to wait for one to die and then befriend his sister at the funeral and then have her bequeath them to you. And sometimes she gives it all away to charity! DAMMIT!!! 

Not an easy score. Great shape with no cracks etc, typical light surface wear. That right there is hard to find.  These are almost half-a-century old.
