Vintage Paiste 2002 BLACK LABEL 15" SOUND EDGE Hihats! BONHAM! THE REAL DEAL! 1150 1232 g ICONIC!

l keep this simple...

These are just about THE MOST ICONIC Paiste Hihats around. They’re THE SOUND. A must have for the studio - nothing else does this classic and oh-so-familiar tone

And they are from the first decade of 2002s.

Paiste ORIGINAL VINTAGE 2002 Black Label (with the embossed logo) 15" SOUND EDGE HIHATS.

The weights are 1150 grams for the top cymbal and 1232 grams for the bottom.

And this pair is actually a PAIR: Consecutive Serial #s signifying that these fraternal twins!

Shy of going back in time and stealing John Bonham's hihats off his Ludwig kit, this is as close as you can come to Bonham's hihats. Vintage Paiste 15" Original 36 Scalloped Black Label Sound Edge Hihats.

These cymbals don't surface often. Guys who own them, KEEP them. You have to wait for one to die and then befriend his sister at the funeral and then have her bequeath them to you. And sometimes she gives it all away to charity! DAMMIT!!!

Not an easy score. Typical light surface wear. Grommet professionally installed on top cymbal (there was a nearly invisible hairline crack around the center hole that poses no issue.)

Feel great. Sound great.

If you'd like to know what they sound like, go get the Zepplin Box set.

It’s a joy playing the REAL ONES. Iconic. Collectible. They just sound right!
