These are just about THE MOST ICONIC and collectible Paiste Hihats around. They’re THE SOUND. A must have for the studio - nothing else does this iconic tone  

Paiste ORIGINAL 1978 VINTAGE 2002 Black Label (with the embossed logo) 15" SOUND EDGE Hihats. These beauties are EARLY - from the very first 8 years of the 2002s  

The weights are 1159 grams for the top cymbal and 1219 grams for the bottom.

And this pair is actually a PAIR: Consecutive Serial #s signifying that these fraternal twins were born in 1978.

Shy of going back in time and stealing John Bonham's hihats off his Ludwig kit, this is as close as you can come to Bonham's hihats. Vintage Paiste 15" Original 1978 36 Scalloped Black Label Sound Edge Hihats. 

These cymbals don't surface often. Guys who own them, KEEP them. You have to wait for one to die and then befriend his sister at the funeral and then have her bequeath them to you. And sometimes she gives it all away to charity! DAMMIT!!! 

Not an easy score. Magnificent shape with no issues. That right there is hard to find.  These are almost half-a-century old.
