- A Limited Edition Crash. And a beauty it is!
- No need to pay $420 on a guess on a stock photo Meinl! Listen away to this exact cymbal so that you can buy with confidence.
- Meinl has made a cannonball-ed-sized splash in the cymbal world with their Byzance Series and crash cymbals like this one are the reason why.
- Meinl BYZANCE POLYPHONIC 18” in the LUSTROUS BRILLIANT FINISH and in IMMACULATE Condition!!! Perfect!
- Weighing only 1398 grams this 18” is indeed THIN - but it still has quite the ability to cut - it’s very complex and full sounding! And it makes a hell of a beautiful 18” Mellow Ride too. Smaller and controlled but very versatile.
- That RAW BELL helps with projection while the lower profile and thinner weight keeps it DARK! All with the darkness of a BRILLIANT FINISH SHIMMER.
- Meinl describes this Polyphonic Brilliant Crash as:
“Limited-edition Byzance Polyphonic brilliant cymbals keep the traditional design - thin edges, lathed body, raw bell - while the buffed brilliant finish darkens high end for a warmer spread. Perfect for funk, pop, fusion, and rock.”
- And that is all accurate.
- Dark. Complex but anchored in the medium low pitched frequencies. Responsive but still full enough to project when you really lay into the edge.
- Medium low profile. SHIMMERING glassy wash compliments of that Brilliant Finish!
- Can easily be used as a smaller Light Complex Ride. Incredibly versatile!
- Immaculate and only played for the video. And not l more money for a big box store guess at tone.
- LIMITED EDITION.
