Sabian VAULT 18” Brilliant Crash w SILVER! SHIMMERING GLASSY Medium Thin Semi Dark! Versatile! 1452 g

Absolutely fantastic sounding SHIMMERING and clean 18” Crash that is incredibly versatile. No longer made.

This particular series was never marketed well. They punched way above their weight class. I’ve owned many.

Maybe it’s the SILVER…Apparently the Vault V-Crash had silver in it giving it its shimmering shimmer sonic sheen!

NOW! All that is in this 18” Vault. C'mon! That's dope! No Kerope can claim that!

With a Medium Thin weight of 1452 grams, this Sabian 18” plays like a shimmering fairly THIN FULL Crash. Opens quick and full and has a medium fast decay.

The edges are bendable - which is quite a lovely thing at this weight. You don’t usually find that.

The tone is wonderfully Semi-Dark to Dark and it has a CLEAN, shimmering attack (compliments of that silver and Brilliant Finish) that is followed by a lush, FULL glassy wash that remains controlled.

The response is very good at both soft and loud volumes. This is a fantastic sounding 18” Crash. It just works!

Hell it sounds like it has a very ounces of PAISTE in there - without the $646 price tag!  Mic friendly. Easy.

No issues. Typical light patina/surface wear.

A great sounding clean cymbal that you can take anywhere and it won’t break the bank!
