- Pioneers of innovation, Paiste were the first to create colored cymbals in 1983. In addition to visual flourish, the ink yields a much drier cymbal tone. Black was the most common color, here we have the 1985 ORIGINAL COLORSOUND 5 that is VERY RED! Strongest ink on this one!
- This is NOT the modern 900 series. This is the Original and it’s a much better cymbal.

- This Original 18” Power Crash Colorsound plays like a 2002 but is considerably drier. It has a fast attack that explodes off the kit and then decays quickly.
