- Don’t just stare at a big box store photo and wonder what your next cymbal sounds like! That life sucks. So here chez hazelshould, we don’t live it!
- Listen away so you can buy with confidence!
- This UPTOWN Ride sounds fantastic. Amazing shape. Looks as fresh as a new one - which means it looks 3000 years old!!
- A Dry, Unlathed beauty that remains controlled but still has a hint of light complexity for the series.
- Zildjian's reprise of the Remix Breakbeat - this Uptown Ride is the ultimate and dry, clean-sticking, and, being the smaller sized 18", it remains controlled in low to medium settings.
- Weighing at 1669 grams, this particular one has a fantastic straight up stick attack and great crashability for lightning-like accents. Very quick sustain.
- Overall dry as hell! Especially for an 18”! But it still has a light, subtle complexity.

Zildjian describes this as:
"The A Zildjian Uptown Ride is a smaller sized ride cymbal that delivers a controlled dry sound with very pronounced stick definition. With its unlathed top and bottom surface, it creates a tightly defined, attenuated sound with minimal overtones and sustain.”
- There ya’ go!! Use it for damn near anything. Quick response and very fast decay. Great for fast sticking patterns.
- Amazing condition. No issues. Played for the video and that’s about it. And you can hear it before you buy. No big box store guessing at tone.
