- I have only seen one other 19” Nostalgia. It’s a rare one! And it’s a factory Crash Ride too! A perfect Left Side Crash Ride because it’s warm and crashable but still a smaller, more controlled size.
- Rare 19” Istanbul Mehmet Nostalgia Factory “Crash Ride.”
- This 19” is glowing warm, fully lathed, Hand Hammered Traditional 19” Factory Crash Ride from Mehmet’s Nostalgia Series which is one of the warmest sounding cymbals on the market.
- The tone is incredibly warm and lush, and definitely DARK. Medium Low to Low pitched. Very responsive. The crash billows out beautifully.
- At 1690 grams this Crash Ride perfectly blends the warmth and glow of a Traditional lathe with a good tension on top for a strong stick articulation and Light Riding capability.
- This makes a terrific main ride for smaller setups and lower volume situations or it can be a terrific larger Dark Crash when you need medium to medium loud cut. It has a fantastic dynamic range - incredible. The bell is solid too - especially for a 19”.
- Goes from a whisper to a roar with supreme facility!
- No issues. Excellent condition with a fantastic natural patina built up.
- Hard to find - especially where you can hear it first. Buy with confidence!
