If you’re gonna get a big and full Paiste Crash Ride, this is the one to get.

There are several interesting features about this Paiste. Take a look at the lathing - extremely THIN and  FINE - like a Giant Beat. ALSO, Reflector Finish---like the old school Reflector 3000 Paistes of bygone days.

Paiste describes this 20” Wild as:
“Hissing, roaring, metallic, shimmering. Narrow range, fairly complex mix. Very responsive, balanced feel, especially controllable while crash/riding. A strong, piercing, crash paired with a growling decay. Very sturdy crash cymbal for louder musical applications in aggressive drumming styles.”

Weighing in at a lovely 1872 grams this Paiste has a 2002 foundation HOWEVER it is considerably DARKER and definitely more COMPLEX than your garden variety 2002. The key words from Paiste are "complex....piercing....aggressive." More complex than a 2002, and darker with a stronger projection-compliments of that BIG ASS 6" BELL.

This Paiste can easily live its entire life as a RIDE too - it sports that famous Paiste big bell that goes “DING”. Quite handy when you need projection.

Wall of white noise when you crash ride in it!

No issues. Typical light wear and use but nothing that affects the tone or longevity.
