- This particular beauty was hand-picked by Paul Francis at the factory. I picked it up from a collector and it is an earlier one! Super wavy and 20 years aged.
- Here’s an earlier WAVY DOOM - super Complex sounding too but just for a bit - the decay on this one is fairly quick.

- Listen to this exact cymbal and buy with confidence! This one is the perfect blend of DARK and complex with great alternate riding capability! And it’s in great condition with a clean vintage Traditional no logo look.
- Not just for creating local doom…..this 20” creates doom to the far ends of the earth.
- Very DARK. It projects superbly but is on the thinner side. Has a terrific stick attack.
- Only 1998 grams. That’s pretty thin. This one has some great factory waviness to the edge - extra doom-y.
- And this 20” has all the classic, super complex, ultra-dark trashiness that catapulted the Crash O’ Doom to fame, but this one has more complexity than the modern one. It opens up and plays well at low volumes. But can certainly roar!
- Very broad dynamic range.
- It offers a dry attack to use as an alternate ride. Trashy and dark - a perfect foil for a bright ride.
- The Crash Of Doom famously falls somewhere between a China and a Crash - it’s part of Zildjian’s Oriental series. This particular one leans a bit more towards the dry ride end of the spectrum.
- Fantastic condition. No issues. Famous for the factory warped edges and trashy explosiveness.
- One my favorite modern Zildjians. And apparently one of Paul’s too because he picked it out!
