Don’t spend $509 on a stock photo and a guess. That life sucks!! You can actually hear this one! And at only 2012 grams it’s THIN and one of the nicest one’s I’ve ever heard. It’s super warm and very dark. Almost like an 80s K. And it can fill many positions on the field.
- Dark. Strong stick attack but still with that K warmth. Extremely full with a billowing and penetrating wash. Overall slightly complex and full wash but leaning more towards the dark and low and SMOOTH. Large rounded over 6” bell penetrates for rock, funk, blues and provides a solid “DING” tone while still remaining darker and warm.
- When played lightly it has a mellow, Light Ride feel. Sounds great from 1 to 10.
- A killer sounded utilitarian cymbal that has a home on any kit in any genre.
- No issues. Overall VERY clean with a subtle light golden patina built up naturally.
- Father Time has been good to this one. It’s mellowed.
- An amazing DARK K and not over half-a-grand for a big box store guess at tone. This one is great. Guaranteed.
