- Damn near impossible to find factory 1950s Zildjian 19” SIZZLE RIDE that still as ALL 6 rivets in and is incredibly clean.
- This is a stunning HAND HAMMERED Vintage Zildjian. It’s semi-dry and has a glowing light complexity that floats around like it’s 1957…because that’s when this cymbal was forged.
- Think about that a minute. This Zildjian was made when Miles Davis was recording with his first great quintet! Literally!
- This nearly 70 year old Zildjian Sizzle is the REAL sound! And it’s less than the re-make Beautiful Baby Zildjian, for the real thing!
- Look at the surface of this beauty - gorgeous Hand Hammered craftsmanship - looks like the 1950s Block Logo years.
- Outfitted with all 6 Vintage Zildjian rivets. Warm and semi-bright with a LIGHT and AIRY wash with a hint of smokiness.
- At 2018 grams it plays like a Medium SIZZLE that’s crashable. It has plenty of tension and weight to ride well a new emit a strong stick attack. And it’s mellowed 70 years so the attack comes out stronger.
- Overall very responsive, compliments of that circle of rivets.
- Very warm and glowing - sounds like a larger cymbal but it has the faster response of a smaller 19”.
- Modern Zildjians are great but they don’t do this. It was made over 60+ years ago. And it SOUNDS like a cymbal made over 60 years ago.
- Amazing shape. Very clean for being 70 years old No issues. Light half-century golden old patina.
- Don’t spend more on the new faux vintage ones.
