As a ride, it features great separation between the stick definition on top and the warm wash underneath, and the bell is clear and pronounced providing plenty of cut when needed. - Pure poetry! Except this sounds semi-dark and complex to me.
- Weighing in at a lovely 2182 grams this Meinl plays like a great FULL Crash or Crash Ride. The tone is semi-dark with a subtle, glassy shimmer and projects quite well without clanking.
- The bell is strong and as promised, this 20” makes a great ride with a much stronger stick attack on top than the crash.
- Being the large 20" it gives you the extra gear of fullness and gives you a wall of white noise when you lay into it.
- Dark. FULL. Medium Lower Pitched. Broad spread. Still responsive at medium volumes but definitely cuts through a mix with ease!
- No issues. Immaculate in the bag. Only played for the video. That’s it. Have a listen and buy with confidence!
