Absolutely glorious DUO-STYLE SABIAN FACTORY PROTOTYPE 22” HIGH BELL SWISH KNOCKER with ALL 14” original rivets intact!

This beautiful Hand Hammered 22” harkens back to the Swishes of yesteryear with a huge rounded-over High Bell, succulent 3” flanged edge ripe for the striking, BUT in the case of this Prototype model, the inner 13” are raw, unlathed and Hand Hammered like an HH, while the outer 9” have a golden full lathe also with Hand Hammering. The underside mirrors the top.

The end result is an incredibly musical, dynamic Swish China that offers explosive but warm accents and punches while yielding a DRY and well-defined stick attack on top for Mel Lewis style alternate riding.  All with the shimmering hiss of an old timey true SWISH KNOCKER. Perfect for “Knocking.”

Only 2244 grams. To me it plays thinner than the Element version with a more responsive feel.

Golden patina building up naturally. I’ve owned over 400 Sabian Prototypes but I’ve never seen one like this.
