- And you can hear this exact cymbal! Not a guess.
-
New this 22” costs $700. Yes indeed. It’s on par with the flagship Sabian Artisan 22s”
- Fortunately, you need not pay that much. Not even close. And you need not sacrifice tone nor condition.
-
Gorgeous Jeff Hamilton Signature Series Hand Hammered Sabian 22” Ride in AMAZING condition. Played the video and that’s it.
-
This is a glorious, light, very warm, airy and amooth sounding 22” that has a terrific stick attack floats above a beautiful slightly complex wash but remains controlled.
- It has a smaller bell that helps control the wash beautifully.
- Still easily crashable.
- A perfect Light Main Ride or Left Side Crash Ride.
- MEDIUM THIN 2513 grams puts it perfectly at a Light Mellow Ride that STILL has a great stick attack on top.
- Here’s what Sabian has to say about this Hammertone:
“The Hammertone Ride is a versatile cymbal that provides both ride and crash properties - a crucial consideration given that Jeff does not use a crash in his standard set up. The high profile and exaggerated bow curvature were achieved through extensive hand hammering. A special lathing technique results in tapered edges that provide controlled stick attack and warm spread when used as a crash. Boutique. Old world excellence.” - There you go!
- That is accurate.
-
The bow is arched giving this particular 22” a light complexity but indeed the stick attack is quite prominent compliments of the smaller bell. The spread is not overly complex - it’s a perfect balance between attack and wash with a light airiness.
- Golden. Glowing warm. Light. Very classy sounding and smooth! Crashes with ease.
- Perfect for low to medium loud settings. As classy as its namesake.
- Amazing condition. Very hard to actually find without spending $700 and a “not in stock” wait and guess!
