Telltale golden era Zildjian Hand Hammering and bell, the alloy has softened and mellowed over the last 7 decades. This specific gem has a deep flanged edge that lends a terrific complexity - Bill Stewart - esque.
A beautiful blend of bright and dark, stick definition and light airy wash. It all comes together quite musically under a rounded over robust bell that cuts like a modern cymbal without the brutishness.
