As many of you may know, the absence of a bell gives a flat ride a more defined, controlled tone - both in volume and in overtones, and that is exactly the case with this gorgeous Crystal Flat Ride.

Now being the massive 22”, it’s extremely DARK and LOW.  This is one of the all time mellowist, low pitched cymbals you will come across.

It’s like it’s own instrument.

Rife with classic Sabian HH Hand Hammering, this 2926 gram 22”  has a unique sounding, prominent stick attack, the ball-peen a Hand Hammering supplies a dark, smooth tone with a quick and controlled wash. And the dark shimmer of a Brilliant Finish and voila!

Being 30 years old, this Crystal Flat Ride has aged exquisitely. It has plenty of tension for a great stick attack but also has the warmth and sweetness of a decades old played on cymbal.

This is one of the nicest, mellow cymbals you will find. Perfect for quiet to medium settings - definitely mic friendly, perfect as a main ride, or as a foil to any complex or dry ride.
And Sabian hasn’t offered this cymbal is many years.
