SABIAN HHX 21” SYNERGY Ride EVOLUTION 2944 g Raw Bell Deep Hammered Strong Definition
This Sabian has the telltale HHX Hand Hammerings-huge, super wavy surface, it's a heavier weight, and the bell is raw and unlathed and solid!!!
THIS PARTICULAR HHX has a terrific attack-it's overall focused with very strong stick articulation but it still has the complexity and darker leanings of the Hand Hammered HHX.
Imagine if Sabian made a Raw Bell Dry Ride-but as an HHX! Well...again, that's the vibe here!
Weighing in at a glorious 2944 grams, this robust HHX 21" plays like a Medium to Medium Heavy Ride. What I really dig about this cymbal, is that it does not just clang its way through life. It is an HHX after all, and HHXs are Sabian's Flagship Series. And this 21" has a smooth SHIMMER to it.
The bell on this Beast is EXTREMELY solid and slices through guitar players with ease, all the while maintaining the etiquette of an HHX. As you migrate down to the plain of this 21", you get a fantastic, aggressive stick definition that remains fairly focused. The wash shimmers underneath compliments of the Brilliant Finish, but it does not eclipse the initial attack.
Strong stick articulation. Solid bell. Semi-dark leanings of an HHX with a hint of complexity and the shimmer of a Brilliant Finish. Quite capable at medium to loud settings.
THAT IS THIS HHX 21"!! Hooray!
No issues. Very nice heavy patina built up that dries it out naturally.
A gorgeous top of the line HHX Sabian that’s remarkably versatile - especially live
