Damn!! Zildjian doesn’t even offers this beauty anymore!  And that’s a shame because it’s one of the few 23s” they ever made!

Zildjian K Custom SPECIAL DRY in the Hercules-approved 23” size!! And this one is immaculate!!

This particular K has a beautiful semi-dry stick attack that is followed by a gorgeous, organic SMOKY complexity, but the wash remains controlled and never eclipses that stick attack. A perfect foil for a full or warm ride. For a 23” is very fast!

3038 grams gives it a Medium Thin weight. The stick attack is strong enough to feel like a medium but still has a fantastic and easy responsiveness to it with a dark airiness.

The famous 23” size gives it much more body and playability than the smaller 20s and 21s.

Wonderfully crashable!! Organic.

The perfect elixir of dry with just a shadow of complexity.  Very quick decay for a large cymbal.  Crash on it to extinguish the sun. It has no problem cutting when really laid in to.

Amazing shape. Played for the video and that’s it.

No guess work needed and not a shot in the dark at tone. Absolutely glorious sounding Zildjian that’s no longer made and in perfect shape.
