Glorious Hand Hammered 1950s SWEET 24” that has a soft, suppleness to it with a dollop of complexity.
Plays like a dark Thin to Medium Thin - but still has a terrific stick attack. 3274 grams that’s mellowed and weathered beautifully.
1950s stamp and beautifully hand hammered and has all the hallmark craftsmanship of a 1950s Zildjian. It looks, sounds and plays like a Block Stamp 50s.
Easily crashable. DARK, semi-DRY, medium low pitched but with a broad spread in the wash. Super warm and woody stick attack that keeps a smokiness to it.
This Zildjian inhabits that estuary where Classic Rock drummers like Mitch Mitchell and Ginger Baker were playing beautiful JAZZ cymbals because that’s who their heroes were. But this one is even plays thin for those guys. This is like a big Crash or Light Sweet Ride.
