Here’s a Rare and Collectible beauty!!

Yes, a CUSTOM 24” MEMPHIS Ride. As many of you may know, Sabian only offered this beauty in the 21” size. And now they offer it in no size!

And so it is with unbridled JOY that I offer this rare and glorious Custom 2 Footer!

The Memphis was a very versatile DRY Ride - like actually dry, as in terrific stick articulation with a quick decay and controlled overtones. This beauty is more of that.

The weight is a lovely 3442 grams giving it a Medium Thin constitution - enough to throw off a great stick attack but still thin enough to offer a light, percolating wash.

Sabian described this cymbal as:
“With its raw surface cut with single-line lathing, this versatile model responds with a dry stick sound, controlled wash, a raw and cutting bell, and a crashable edge.”

In addition to its generous size, there are several unique features about this Sabian. As you can see, this cymbal has a barely lathed top surface with LARGE Classic AAX hammerings. And the underside has extremely FINE LATHING with a raw bell.

The light lathed top delivers a control stick on-top attack while the lathed underside bottom enables the wash to breathe and billow out, but it STILL remains controlled. Very good definition with a controlled organic wash.
