  •  A gorgeous Zildjian that is half-a-century old!

  • BEHOLD!!

  • THE ORIGINAL BRILLIANT FINISH RIDE! Yes!  This was Zildjian’s first Brilliant Finish series. From the 1970s. And in a huge 22"!

  • The A Customs, Brilliant Ks, K Customs, etc, can all trace their genealogy back to this line.

  • No need to spend $460 on a guess at a big box store A Custom! Have a listen so you can buy with confidence!
  • This Vintage A & CIE harkens from the 1970s and it carries that Vintage decade flag perfectly!  It has strong high and lows present and one hell of an amazing 6” BELL that is darker and lower pitched than the anemic 20”!

  • Weighing in at a beastly 3744 grams, this Vintage 22” plays like...a MASSIVE Ping Ride.

  • The stick attack is that classic 1970s Zildjian Ping - y tone that has no problem cutting - especially 100 feet back from the kit.

  • Much darker, lower pitched and a hell of a lot more fun than the regular big box story, puny 20”. Still has plenty of highs to cut.

  • The 6" bell is solid and cuts well. Right below the bell, you get a great, fairly focused Vintage Ping tone. As you migrate toward the plain, the cymbal starts to breathe and the overtones emerge. And when you finally reach the last inch of this Vintage Zildjian, it billows out beautifully into a FULL ROAR!

  • Killer for that massive Crash Riding Wall-of-White-Noise a la Van Halen or the Foo Fighters.

  • This is a glorious 22” that’s 50 years aged. Terrific attack. Slightly more controlled than a modern cymbal. Great PING and cut on a generous 22”. Very musical.

  • You can use this 70s Zildjian for absolutely anything.

  • No need to settle for a guess at a big box store 20” or 22”.

  • This is a hell of a lot more fun and hard to find today.
