  • Now check out this gorgeous sounding pair of raw, unlathed and actually Hand Hammered Bosphorus Masters Vintage 13” Hi Hats. Yes!! 13s”! You never find these. 

  • And they actually sound light!  Imagine that.  A beautiful 756 and 928 grams. That’s a thin top. 

  • Have a listen. This pair is particularly complex and airy but with a particular refinement. 

  • Hard to find outside of a stock photo -  Bosphorus MASTER VINTAGE 13” Hi Hats that are in Immaculate Condition. 

  • As you can see, the Vintage line and the Turk line share a common ancestry. They’re raw and Hand Hammered and unlathed but the Master Vintage is more refined sounding. 
  • Aptly named, these Unlathed DRY Hihats deliver a dark, organic, slightly lower-pitched tone for 13s” that still deliver a quick and FAST hand and foot response. They’re dark and lower but anything but sluggish. 

  • They have the faster response of smaller hats but the darkness that is usually found with larger hihats  Still a bit of brightness snuck in the overall tone. 

  • At a thin 756 and 928 grams, they provide a great Chick tone and play like Dry Light Complex 13s" with a whole new world of organic sounding. 

  • Hand-hammered throughout, unlathed and raw, incredibly handcrafted. 

  • These Hi Hats are controlled in both volume and wash-compliments of those thin weights and unlathed surface.

  • Open them up for a glorious slosh that is not overbearing or too loud. They remain mellow, and that’s a beautiful thing on hi hats. 

  • Perfect for very quiet to medium loud.  Extremely responsive at lower volumes.  Amazing in old school jazz, New Orleans, freight-train-a-comin’ grooves and anything with SOUL.

  • Why spend hundreds more on non-hand hammered, non-light sounding Zildjians when you can have it ALL…for less.
