Fantastic Sounding PAISTE 2000 Medium Hihats 14” 794 1046 g Tight & Clean Semi-Complex

This is one of the SLEEPER cymbals I’m constantly talking about. Not many people are familiar with these 35 year old Paistes but they should be!

Especially when the regular-ass Paiste 2002 Hihats cost $550 now. Yes. $550. On sale!

That makes these cousin-to-the-2002 Paiste Hihats even MORE attractive!  

I actually prefer these 2000s to the 2002s because they are tighter and more focused and controlled sounding. They don’t have the high end ring - and I don’t miss that on Hihats. These are tight and crisp.

Paiste 2000 Medium 14” Hihats in terrific condition. These BLUE LABEL beauties harken from 1991 and there in great shape.

Weighing in 794 grams for the Top Cymbal and 1046 grams for the Bottom Cymbal, these Paistes play like like Thin over Medium Hihats. And that gives them the perfect blend of cut combined with a pinch of complexity.

794 is pretty thin for a Top Cymbal so that makes them very responsive - even and lower volumes. But as you can hear, they don’t lack CHICK.

Fantastic for live and definitely mic friendly - as you can hear.

Completely underrated and for the price of some smell crappy PST7 Hihats.

These are so much better. They sound professional instead of student model like the PST7s.
