Here’s a UNIQUE pair of Zildjian Hi Hats - hand-selected and a PROTOTYPE PAIR 14s”. They’re CONCEPT OF A CONCEPT HATS!

This particular pair has a distinctive CLEAN SHIMMER on top.
They’re not the regular-ass guitar center fodder. They’re appear to be a Prototype version of the FAT Hats.

Classic “K” logo and K stamp on both hihats - and that’s ALL! No other markings.

Take a look at these beauties! Very FAT HATS / K Constantinople - ish style deep hammering and lathing.

And there ya’ have it! This pair being Prototypes they have a distinctive CLEAN SHIMMER on top.

Gram weights are 1002 and 912 grams. Zildjian  certainly encourages you to reverse them or mix and match. Explore. Experiment. And rightly so!  I prefer the 1002 gram on top.

These Unique Prototypes have a smooth warmth combined with a fantastic stick attack and cut that not overbearing.  Smooth and mellow sibilance when opened with a unique glassiness on top.

Buried in the darker tones is a light, shimmer of brightness that differentiates these flagship Prototypes from the standard big box store fare and gives them a bit more cut and bite in a mix without losing smoothness or warmth.
