This beautiful bass drum comes from the DW California Custom shop and it is DW's top of the line, exotic bass drum, not the PDP or performance series stuff. I believe it was a limited edition wood. 

The 20" size and combination of Mahogany & Spruce beautifully beefs up the attack to deliver a punchy tone while the spruce rounds out the low end for a fatness. And that's a beautiful thing on a DW Collector’s drum. It's much more responsive than a 22" or 24" but still retains DW's famous low-end.

Factory tag inside. Shell note is a "C."

As you can see from the pictures this drum is IMMACULATE. DW Factory heads still on. Only demoed and never gigged. A perfect drum for studio use, backline, and obviously if you have any DW wood finish kit.
